Hey everyone, I’m thinking about getting some kind of windshield protection. Is it worth the money? And if so, where’s the best place to get it? I’d love to hear your thoughts!
Honestly, the best protection is getting a $0 deductible on your car insurance. That way, if your windshield gets cracked, you don’t have to pay out of pocket.

Or you could get specific glass coverage. Depending on where you live, your insurance company might offer different options. In my state, I can get up to three free windshield replacements each year. I had to use it last year, and the process was super smooth. In the place I used to live, my insurance covered the glass with a $0 deductible.
I’d suggest just getting a low glass deductible on your insurance. You’ll end up needing it more often than you think
