Windshield Eyebrow Tint

I’m thinking about adding a tint to the top of my front window when I get my side windows tinted. Does anyone have pictures of a white truck with that kind of tint?

Here are my windows. It’s a bit hard to see, but I really love my tint. The back three windows are fully blacked out, the front two are 18% tint, and I have a limo strip across the top of the front window. It makes my Oakleys less useful now, but I wouldn’t have another vehicle without tint. The strip goes about 3 inches below the top edge of the window.

Which state are you in? Eyebrows on the window only look good if they’re about 5 inches below the AS1 line and don’t get too thin in the middle. Mine came with the truck, and while it’s several inches below the line, it tapers a lot in the center and isn’t very effective. Plus, it’s tinted to about 35%, but that’s another issue!

Definitely get it; it’s worth the price! Just make sure the shop you choose does the tint straight across the windshield. It takes longer but looks cleaner and really helps with sun glare. Go with 5% for the brow—I love mine. It’s a shame Ford didn’t add this to our trucks.

Most tint shops do a curved tint because it’s easier for them. It usually goes about an inch and a half below the legal line and ends at the bottom of the F150 logo in the middle. It works but looks a bit silly, like on CW’s truck.

Get the tint and make sure it’s 5% for the back windows. The evening sun can be really harsh if you drive into it. I had mine done with 35% tint on the front door windows too.

I have the exact same on my truck and I love the look.

Is your eyebrow straight across or did they go with curve of the windshield?

Haha, I always tint my whole windshield. It’s saved me a lot of money on sunglasses.

Curve. Straight would look stupid IMO.

I did the same on my 2014 black lariat … Love it
