They could’ve just made the button next to volume up double as a hang-up button. Would’ve been perfect.
Oh noooo, what a tragedy.

Should definitely call the dealership and give them an earful about this.
Was surprising for sure, didn’t expect it.
Biggest thing that bugged me when I got my 2023 model. All those buttons and no hang-up
Funny, my Gen 2 has that feature. Wonder why Ford left it out?

The Gen 3 Raptor added spots for ‘R,’ suspension, and exhaust. They probably cut the phone button due to space. You can answer with the OK button, but I just hang up on CarPlay.
@Dylan
CarPlay is alright, but if I’m using Google Maps, it’s annoying to have to switch back and forth to hang up.

On CarPlay, the time turns green during a call. Just tap it, and you’re back on the phone screen.
This is my biggest pet peeve! Can’t stand it!
On iOS 18.1, they moved the hang-up button closer to the driver side. I’ve got a 2022 model, and this helps a lot. You might be able to make an iOS shortcut to hang up when you say ‘bye’—try asking around the shortcuts forum, though it might have a delay.
Why can’t they make the track buttons double as call buttons during a call? The Bronco Sport has that, so why not the Ranger and F-150?
Ford just does its own thing. Guess that’s why Trump’s a fan
