Why Do Some People Avoid Buying Used Mustangs?

Why do some folks avoid buying used Mustangs? I feel like any pony car has probably been through a lot unless you know the previous owner. Rental cars must get the worst treatment, right?

Is it completely crazy to think that buying new is the only option for this kind of car?

Both of mine were used and had over 40k miles, but they never gave me any trouble. These cars are built to handle a beating.

I’d choose a non-rental Mustang GT over a family SUV any day. Those SUVs often miss oil changes and basic maintenance. Many GT owners are gearheads who take good care of their cars.

I’m all for buying used. I don’t really care about warranties or the latest tech since I won’t keep it stock anyway.

But what about the engine? Isn’t it risky with potential abuse and lack of proper maintenance?

So what? If something breaks, I’ll just fix it.

You must be pretty well off to buy a new car, right? Most people don’t do that all the time.

When it comes to peace of mind, that matters to a lot of people. Not everyone has a car, and some think just owning one makes you wealthy.

Are you considered rich just because you have a car? Let’s not assume someone is wealthy just because they’re thinking about getting a new ride.

We’re not exactly in a wealthy crowd here, are we? I doubt Robin Leach would be showing up to talk about anyone’s luxurious lifestyle.

I’m definitely not rich, and I don’t buy new cars all the time, lol.
