Which design do you prefer, the MK8 or the 8.5?

The MK8 wins, in my opinion. It looks more aggressive, and the 8.5 reminds me too much of the MK4 Corsa VXR, which I find hideous.

I prefer the 8 because the 8.5 looks like the sleepy version of the 8.

I like the ones that don’t have an EcoBoost wet belt.
