What power mods would you recommend for a 2024 Mustang?

Hi Folks,

I recently got my hands on a 2024 Mustang GT, and I’m eager to get the most power out of it. Since the ECU is still locked at the moment, I’m looking for some advice on power mods that would be effective. What are your recommendations for boosting performance in this model? Any tips or suggestions would be really appreciated.

Congrats on the new Mustang GT. Since the ECU is locked right now, your best bet for boosting power might be to start with some bolt-on mods. Consider a high-performance cold air intake or a cat-back exhaust system to improve airflow and enhance engine sound. Upgrading the spark plugs and ignition coils can also help with performance. Once the ECU unlocks in the future, you might look into a tune for even more gains. Hotrod flames might be a bit too flashy, but hey, if you’re into that look, go for it. Enjoy making your Mustang even more of a beast.

That should add at least 87 more horsepower to the mix.

More flames mean more power.

Wow, looks like I’m grabbing my paintbrush.

Any performance mods will void the warranty, so adding hot rod flames or colored stripes might be a good alternative.

Aside from using higher octane gas, headers are pretty much the main mod you can consider. You could also check out the Whipple supercharger for more performance:

I think if I were aiming to replicate the Steeda build, I’d be better off just getting a Whipple supercharger for about half the cost.
