The recommended tire pressure for these Mustangs isn’t actually 50 psi. The maximum pressure listed on the tire is 50 psi, but that’s not the optimal pressure for regular driving. For the best performance and safety, you’ll want to follow the specific tire pressure guidelines provided by the manufacturer, which are usually found in the owner’s manual or on a sticker inside the driver’s side door frame. Using the correct tire pressure ensures better handling, fuel efficiency, and overall tire longevity.

Dude, I can totally picture it, I’m laughing so hard my stomach hurts   . I don’t even know why that’s so hilarious.

At least he asked before putting 50 psi into those wide, low-profile tires.

I’m not trying to make fun of the OP, it’s just the idea of anyone putting that much pressure into a tire. I remember watching a guy blow up a tire at a gas station with my grandpa, it was both funny and frightening. It just brings that memory back.

When I was in high school, I worked at a gas station one summer, and the neighborhood kids would come by on their bikes to use the free air. They had no clue how much pressure those pumps produced compared to how little air a bicycle tire needs. They would just press the nozzle onto the bike tire valve, and within seconds, the tire would blow every single time. It was so funny watching their reactions, scared out of their minds, staring at their ruined tires. Sometimes the tube would be hanging out between the tire and the rim, or the tire would be half off the rim. It was always entertaining to see the crazy things people did at the gas station.

:joy: Dude, I feel like I never see stuff like that anymore. Maybe I just need to move to College Station or somewhere like that.

Moving to College Station won’t make a difference; that world doesn’t exist anymore, not even in Texas. But don’t feel bad, we sure had a great time while it lasted, didn’t we?"

Absolutely. At least the good memories last forever.

I’ve been around. Worked during the week and then spent weekends in College Station, but that was years ago.

Got it. That was a while ago.

Why do you mention that? How do you know about College Station, if you don’t mind me asking?
