I’m considering doing a cooling system flush on my car and was looking at different flush kits. I’m not sure which one to choose or how to use it properly.
Can anyone recommend a good cooling system flush kit and share some tips on how to use it correctly? Any advice on what to look for or common mistakes to avoid would be really appreciated!

Prestone is all right. Just keep in mind that a chemical flush might make things worse. When there is rust in the system, it might be the rust that keeps everything together. An acid wash will get rid of all the rust, but it can leave behind tiny leaks. The cleaner didn’t make them happen; it just made them visible by getting rid of the dust and dirt. So get ready for leaks.
To flush your car’s cooling system, park on a level surface, let the engine cool, drain the old coolant, add a flush solution, run the engine, drain the solution, rinse, and refill with new coolant.
