Upgraded from my old Mk5 Fiesta, and it feels like a whole new experience. Excited to share it here and see what others think about my new car .

Zetec-S with 1.7 Puma Engine, really fun car to take out on the back roads .
@Santiago
Beautiful car, and trust me, waaay reliable and easy to maintain than the new ones
I drive a ‘mean green’ MK 8.5 myself, how are those 200 horsies working out for you? It’s SO much fun to drive, I can’t stop smiling every time I walk up to it.

I actually look forward to doing my job now (field engineer) a lot better than my old car. My old mk5 was missing loads of trim, hubcaps, and had lots of duct tape on it to fix the back bumper that had been ripped off by a passing lorry, so I look a lot better showing up to my customer sites. I can’t tell you how much better it is than my old car, I have 6 gears now for those motorways and when I put my foot down it breezes past everyone I need it too.
@Zacy
It’s the best in an at-speed sprint. If you’re already doing around 90 kph, slap it back in 4th and slam on the gas, it just goes and goes and goes. The engine sound is awesome too, and it corners like the tires are covered in glue. Do you have the full version with the LSD? I was amazed at how fast I could throw it into a corner without so much as a squeak from the tires.
@Rory
It has the qualife LSD indeed! You just point it where you want it to go and it just goes there with no issues at pretty much any speed (within reason haha)

There’s a big open space near where I live, it’s at the end of an industrial area, the last bit is still open and has a twisty road with brand new asphalt. You can see traffic coming from a long way ahead and the runoff is basically just sand, so it’s super safe to have a bit of fun there. It took me a lot to finally get it to slide a little bit over there, that little car can do a lot more than I generally dare to try . There’s lots of people who go there to try out their cars and bikes, so there’s usually someone else having some fun too. I go there every so often, it’s tons of fun.
Mk5? Or mk8?

Dang, quite an upgrade. Congrats, enjoy it!
You won’t lose that in a carpark
That’s definitely not an MK5 but still looks good.

Ah. Even though I still love my MK6, this is definitely a beauty. I like the color a lot. You don’t see this very often nowadays.
@Timber
Limited edition - so I guess they wanted an iconic colour for it
