How was it in an accident? I want something sturdier after my Focus got totaled.
Higher off the ground doesn’t always mean safer. Modern cars are designed to crumple and protect you, not just survive the impact.

I’ve got 45k miles on my 22 XL hybrid with no issues, and my wife just got the 23 model. It’s been a great value.

What’s the warranty like? And how’s the mileage?

MotorTrend averaged 35 mpg in a 10K-mile test.
I have a 23 Lariat with 10k miles, getting 43 mpg. No problems at all. Best car I’ve ever owned.
Mine’s been rock solid with over 10k miles, no problems, and it’s got a 10-year warranty on the hybrid system, so I’m not too worried.

I’m 20K miles in with my ‘22 model, and it’s been the most reliable car I’ve owned besides an old Yaris.

Does the 10-year warranty cover everything, like the hybrid battery?
@April
I think it’s just the hybrid components. You’d need to check the specific warranty for other parts.
For snow, it’s all about the tires. If the car weighs about the same, it’ll perform like any other FWD vehicle.
I’m at 43,000 miles and mostly trouble-free. The dealer replaced my windshield after a crack under warranty. MPG hovers around 40. I had some steering wheel shake, but balancing the tires helped.

What’s the care package you mentioned?
@Aurora
It’s a service package from the dealer covering oil changes and minor repairs. Cost me a couple of grand, but it’s been worth it so far.

You sound like you care about the details!
@Ella
What’s that supposed to mean?
@Ella
No need for personal comments here, let’s keep it to car talk.
Got a 2022 with 10k miles. No problems at all.
So far, it’s been great with no issues. Seems reliable.
Isn’t this the same hybrid system as the Escape? That’s been out for years, right?
Had mine for 14 months and 10.3k miles. No mechanical issues, but the regen braking was annoying until I got it fixed. Solid vehicle so far.
