Rattle in the front end

My 2019 F150 Lariat has 140,000 kilometers (87,000 miles) on it.
I could hear a rattle coming from the front whenever I hit a bump.
When I turn right in a circle on the gravel parking lot at work, the rattling

is loud and steady. On the gravel, if I turn in a circle to the left, the rattle

is still present, although less reliably. At highway speeds, the truck is also beginning to tremble.

I’ve had the rims trued and all four tires balanced several times. I’m considering the two issues.

accompany one another. I would be grateful for any assistance.

With 140,000 km on your F-150, it’s definitely time for a closer look. Since you’ve already tackled the tires and balance, it’s likely a suspension component causing the trouble.

The fact that it’s worse on gravel points towards something loose or worn. I’d focus on checking out the sway bar links, tie rod ends, and ball joints.

These parts take a beating, and any wear can lead to those annoying rattles and vibrations.

If you’re not comfortable diving in yourself, a trusted mechanic can inspect and pinpoint the issue. Let’s get that truck feeling smooth again!

It sounds like you’re dealing with a couple of potential issues with your 2019 F150 Lariat. The rattling noise when hitting bumps and the varying sounds when turning could indicate problems with components like the suspension system, such as worn struts, loose or damaged sway bar links, or ball joints. The trembling at highway speeds might be related to wheel alignment issues, which could affect handling and ride quality, even if the tires are balanced and rims are true. Another possibility is an issue with the drivetrain, such as worn CV joints or differential components. It’s a good idea to have a professional mechanic inspect the suspension system and drivetrain to diagnose and address these issues properly.
