The 1990 SHO of our time
First thing change the ptu rdu and trans fluids. Consider a tune and intercooler upgrade. Really wakes it up. A catch can is also going to help longevity.

I know about all the fluids and will do them myself soon. And definitely a tune. What FMIC do you recommend?
@Briar
I didnt touch mine and it would skid the tyres without effort. Run it on 91 not 93 and give it some directional (or asymmetrical) tyres. And leave it alone. If you want to play with it: put some sound deadening behind all the speakers. And yes give it a full service.
Looks amazing! Hope it gives you many years of great fun .
In addition to the ptu and rdu, bring it in to ford and have the oil pan replaced for the upgraded version. The production version is plastic and secured with adhesive which is prone to leaking, the upgraded version uses a rubber gasket.
@Austin
The same thing I always recommend. I dont think they fixed the pan on any year. Even if he doesn’t see it leaking it’s probably on its way out.
I’ve had my 2018 since new, full bolt-ons, tune, and FMIC. I absolutely love it. But I’m actively looking for a MKZ 3.0 now.

Which tune and FMIC did you end up going with?!

I got a 2017 sport and I love it so much. Yours looks awesome
I would love to own a freak ass ford fusion. What’s an ecoboost?
I really want one of these, but it’s just a little out of my price range for now. Is it as good as I hear they are?

They’re great but far from the Audi killers people expected off the showroom floor. You have to remember, they’re off the shelf parts cars. Everything on them Ford sourced from within their own inventory. Nothing was unique to it, but it was put together well. With a tune and some bolt-ons, they do fair well. I really enjoy my '17 Sport. Have had it since brand new, bought it Sept 2017. It did a great job of replacing my Volvo S60R and almost felt like my Jaguar S-Type R.
