OEM tonneau or Rough Country, anyone have experience?

I found an OEM and a Rough Country tonneau cover for about the same price, both hard, trifold, low-profile. Other than the quick-release cord on the OEM, I can’t really see what makes one better than the other. Reviews for both seem alright but nothing too impressive. Anyone here have any strong opinions or a preference between the two?

Rough Country has two different models. One of them opens 2/3 of the way, while the other has all three panels open up. The one that fully opens is a bit pricier.

The ones I found, both OEM and Rough Country, can fully open up and fold vertically against the window.

Nice! Rough Country must have updated recently because that full-open model that folds against the window is still pretty new.

I picked up a Lanotech low-profile trifold in aluminum, and I’m really happy with it! It was just over $400, so about half the price of the OEM and Rough Country options. Only issue was a small blemish on the first panel, but that’s typical for these.

Thanks for the heads-up. I’m hesitant about getting those random Amazon brands with only a few reviews, so I’ll check out Lanotech if these other options don’t work out.
