I found a 2022 Platinum F350 I really like, but there’s this option listed as “Multi Contour Seat Delete.” What exactly does that mean?
It’s basically the massaging seats. A lot of trucks ordered with them during the chip shortage had them removed for a credit.
That’s what we call a Covid truck.

Ah, makes sense. I think I might keep looking then… don’t really want to compromise.

Definitely not worth just a $350 credit. It’s more like a $3500 loss, honestly.

I wonder if the parts are still there, like maybe it’s just missing the control module? Sometimes cars have options like that where you just need the hardware.
Those seats are really comfortable. I have them in my King Ranch. The massage feature is more of a gimmick, but it’s nice on long trips.

Yeah, I get that. It’d probably be good just to keep you awake and alert on road trips. Thanks for the insight!

Exactly, it’s great for breaking up long hours behind the wheel. We did a few cross-country drives and found them super useful.
Wish mine had the console safe. Need to get one.

Yeah, that’d be a good addition. My truck got broken into once, so it’d bring some peace of mind.

You can actually get it installed yourself or have the dealer do it. It’s not factory-installed anyway.

I’d go for the half safe. That way you still have accessible storage and don’t have to unlock the safe every time.
Worth it for $375. I don’t use mine much, but they’re great for long drives. It’s a small price in the grand scheme of things.

No massage seat for you, peasant!

I had the same setup, except with a carpet delete. I don’t use the massagers a lot in my new truck, but I’d usually avoid one that doesn’t have them. Maybe you can score a good deal.

Honestly, you’re not missing much. The massaging feature is pretty underwhelming. I never use mine.

Is this truck equipped with the 10-speed transmission? The notorious Ford 10R80? No thanks.

The F-150 has the 10R80. Super Duty models use the 10R140.

Oh, I didn’t know that. My friend really likes his 10-speed compared to his old 6-speed F350.
