Loving this trunk and big wheels… what do you think?

I’ve got 2 wheels in the trunk and it’s packed. What about you?

You should check out the hybrid and energi trunks. It’s ridiculous how small they are :sob:

Are hybrid trunks really small too? I thought that was just an energi thing.

@Wyatt
They’re not as tiny as the energi ones but still smaller. It goes from 16 cubic feet to 12, and the energi is about 8.5. I couldn’t even fit my suitcase in mine. Ended up getting a cargo bag for the roof.

@DolphGabbana
The hybrid trunk isn’t great either. There’s a big hump near the back seats for the batteries. It takes up a lot of space.

I have an energi and I swear the trunk is just one big battery. Feels like there’s no space at all.

Edit: I’m joking, but it’s not far off.

I’ve seen that. Makes me think a hybrid might be better. Before Covid, I thought I’d be travelling a lot, but now I just use my car in the city.

My husband always jokes about how many people we could fit in our trunk. He says two or three at least.

@Roselon
I have no idea what this scene is, but my husband probably does. I’ll ask him when he wakes up :joy:

Did you ask him? :joy::joy::joy:

For its size, this car’s trunk is really spacious. But if you’re looking to haul four tires, go for a mid-90s Town Car. You could fit those tires in there while they’re still mounted to a Fusion :joy:

I had an ’86 Town Car back in my Marine days. We used to joke it could fit five or six average-sized adults in the trunk. Good times.

One of the reasons I’m getting rid of my energi is the lack of trunk space. It’s brutal lol

Looks like whoever installed the exhaust placed it a couple of inches too far out from the bumper.

Suffering over here with my hybrid’s tiny trunk.

There’s no perfect car… big trunk means more fuel, smaller trunk saves on fuel but then no space :man_shrugging::man_shrugging::man_shrugging:

If you had the Mondeo hatch, you’d have way more usable space.

I’m not into diesel cars, so it doesn’t seem worth it to me. Honestly, this trunk is enough for what I need :man_shrugging::man_shrugging::man_shrugging:

When I bought mine, the dealer up in northern Minnesota said, ‘You can fit full-length shotguns for bird hunting in the back.’ I don’t hunt, but I’ve found that space handy a few times.
