Just wrapped my 2011 Ford Edge Sport... thoughts?

Just got my 2011 Ford Edge Sport wrapped in matte green. Loving how it turned out!

The matte finish with the black wheels looks awesome! I drive a '13 Edge AWD myself, wish I could afford to wrap it :man_shrugging:

I’m not a big fan of the new greys and such. That car looks amazing, blacked out with black rims. But to each their own. All that matters is if you like it.

Some window deflectors would take it up another level.

What’s a ‘window deflector’?

Okay, I see what they are, but I don’t really think they look cool. But hey, whatever you like!

Another example

Really nice! This is what I imagined for wrapping my white one.

To add some contrast, what do you think of this? Link

I’m a pretty low-key guy, even though getting my car wrapped sounds flashy. But it’s definitely a good look.

How does the wrap handle extreme weather (heat waves, snow/ice)? I’m tempted to do something similar, but with the OEM ‘ruby red’ underneath, I know it’ll look bad if it flakes or scratches.

Just had it done a month ago, so this will be the first winter. I haven’t been big on washing my car in winter here, but to keep the wrap looking nice, I’ll have to do it at least once a month during our Chicago winters. The wrap did come with a 1-year warranty.

I have a 2012 Ford Edge Sport, all blacked out with the same 22s, but I need to find other rims since the current ones are all scratched up. It has 161,000 miles, so I might just sell it since it’s been giving me misfire issues. Just had to replace cylinder 1 fuel injector but still misfires on cylinder 5, and the auto service shop is currently stumped. All coils and plugs are looking good, but still replaced all 6 since the shop was already under the hood. It’s terrible in the snow, so I got grip strips to put on the front tires during the winter.

Mine were badly scratched too. But as part of the blackout process, we smoothed the surface out.

I can’t lie. Ever since I saw this, I get disappointed when I walk outside to my car and see white instead of this matte green! I think this looks fantastic!
