I’m looking at a 2014 Mustang V6 for sale. Do you think the price is too high for the miles it has? Or if I can get it under 15k, would that be a decent deal?
If it’s a Premium model, anything under 14k sounds fair. I bought mine a year ago with 70k miles for 16k, and it had full options and the appearance package.
Thanks, but it looks like it’s just a base model, unfortunately.
For a base? Nah, that’s too much. Maybe 13k, possibly 14k if the miles are low. I picked up a 2011 Premium with 68k miles for 15k this past April, and it was in nearly perfect condition. I’d say hold out for a Premium, you’ll be glad you did.
Man, the market is crazy right now. I got mine with 28k miles for 16k back in March 2020.
Honestly, I’d keep searching for a GT, even if it’s a bit older. 15k for that many miles is kind of steep. I got a 2014 V6 with 45k miles for 13k a few years ago. But if you really want this one, maybe try negotiating with the dealership.
If you can, save up a bit more and aim for a GT. It’s worth the wait. There’s nothing like driving a Coyote-powered Mustang
Not everyone wants a V8, though. I get it, they’re awesome, I own one too, but some folks just prefer something else.
I can’t wrap my head around why anyone wouldn’t want a V8. If it’s about MPG, they shouldn’t even be looking at Mustangs.
Insurance, gas, risk of theft… those are all pretty solid reasons why someone might not want a V8.
So you’re saying, “buy a car nobody wants to steal”… interesting perspective.
Look, they make V6s for a reason, and people buy them like crazy. Clearly, they appeal to some folks
The only thing better than a GT is a Voodoo-powered Mustang
