Hi everyone,

Dealerships aren’t actually owned by Ford; they’re franchises, just like with most car companies. So, they follow what their owners decide. Ford doesn’t like when dealers add extra markups because it doesn’t benefit them and gives customers a bad impression.
That being said, I haven’t seen any of that happening in Michigan yet. It’s surprising that some dealers might still be doing this, especially now that there are more cars available compared to last year.
There are plenty of great Ford dealerships out there that genuinely care about their customers.
If your recent experience wasn’t top-notch, don’t hesitate to share your feedback with Ford directly.
