Edit: Thanks everyone for letting me know this is actually the hybrid version
Make sure the transmission is fine. 10k to replace
That’s not a Fusion Energi. That’s a Fusion Hybrid.

Sorry, should have read the thread first. I see you found out already.
I get up to 700 miles to a tank with my Energi, the regular hybrid isn’t as efficient but still good if you know how to drive it.
I would get it …Ford Fusion can last over 400k miles …however being that it’s over 100k I’ll have a mechanic look at it…just got a Titanium and the dealer made it seem like everything was fine but when the mechanic looked at it the spark plugs and filters and etc needed maintenance. So you want to get those checked and you’ll have no issues.
Nope. They don’t go far on electric, and there is no trunk space. Ridiculous, they sacrificed all that trunk space for 15-20 miles of electric that goes pretty quickly compared to other plug-ins. Terrible.
So we’ve established that this is a hybrid, and not the Energi. I’m curious, was this person advertising the plug-in range?
Side note: if you do want a plug-in Ford, go for the C-Max. The Fusion Energi lacks a trunk. After 5 years of owning one, I’d pick the ugly duck (C-Max) any day.
I’d look closely at that front end. To me the paint seems off on the front bumper like it’s been replaced.
