Is CJ Pony Parts a scam?
I’ve purchased many items from CJ Pony Parts, and they’re not a scam. It seems like you’re not satisfied with what you received. I understand it looks different, so just return it.

The picture you shared is straight from American Muscle’s ad for the boot. According to the photo on CJ Pony’s listing, you received exactly what you ordered. You should research a product more thoroughly before criticizing a company.
Are you saying he checked out a product on one website, then purchased it from another, and expected it to be the same as what he saw on the first site?
I verified, and American Muscle only has this picture for one color, which isn’t even the one they ordered. Even the LMR listing confirms that what the OP ordered is accurate.
CJ’s didn’t manufacture this product; it was made by TMI.
Just a typical fool trying to undermine companies for no good reason.
CJ Pony Parts is a reliable parts website from which I’ve purchased several items for two different Mustangs. You should be upset with the manufacturer of the item you bought, not CJ Pony Parts.
I ordered hydraulics for my convertible '07 from CJ Pony Parts, and they were exactly what I needed and what I ordered. If you’re not satisfied or think you need a refund, just return it. It’s that simple. Don’t criticize something you haven’t researched. CJ Pony Parts is a fantastic website—100% legit and 100% reliable.
It seems like he should be upset with TMI, not CJ or whoever he ordered it from.
