What bracket are you using? Is it connected to the factory AUX switches on the roof?

I’m using this bracket:

And yes, it’s hooked up to the AUX switches.

Here’s a mount to put the compressor inside: https://americanadventurelab.com/product/ford-bronco-tailgate-compressor-mount-bundle/

Honestly, it’s easier to just plug the hose into it without needing to open doors or the hood.

I hear you. I was thinking about the folks in Utah dealing with the dust. Also curious how this setup would hold up in freezing weather like we get in New England.

If I lived in a colder climate, I’d probably put it inside. But it rarely drops below 14°C where I am, and it can go up to 47°C in the summer—still no issues.

Cool location. Do you worry about water getting into it when washing your car? I mounted mine under the hood, and it’s super handy for more than just off-roading.

Not really. The wiring is protected by a harness, and the spare tire base plus the tire itself shield the compressor. It’s also weather-resistant, so it can handle splashes just fine. Had it for a year now with no problems. The Bluetooth is a new feature, and it’s very convenient!

That’s awesome!

Which garage did you go to? I’m interested.

I don’t live in the US, I’m in the UAE. The garage is called Ramy Automotive—highly recommend them if you’re around here.
