How to tell if it’s a 2.0 Ecoboost or 2.0 NA?

I’m trying to figure out how to tell the difference between a 2.0 Ecoboost and a 2.0 naturally aspirated engine. Is there a specific engine number or anything I can look for on the motor?

Pretty sure Ford hasn’t made a 2.0 NA since around 2006?

The 2.0 NA was still used in the Focus until it was discontinued, and in the Ecosport for a bit longer.

Wow, I thought the PowerShift Focus models had the 1.6 for some reason.

Nah, my 2014 has a 2.0 NA.

What car is this for? Not a lot of cars had both options.

It’s for a 2014 Focus SE, which has the 2.0 NA. The Focus ST from the same generation has the 2.0 Ecoboost.

Got it. I have a Focus ST, so I know what you mean. Sometimes people ask if a car has engine A or B when it never even had that option. Are you looking to buy a car?

Nope, I’m buying an engine on a pallet. I know it’s a 2.0L and supposedly an Ecoboost, but I want to confirm it before buying.
