How do I fix a P1450 code on a Ford F150?

I got a P1450 fuel code the other day.

The main problem is that the truck has trouble starting after filling the tank.

I think it might be related to a solenoid on the vent line. Has anyone dealt with this before?

A P1450 code usually points to an issue with your EVAP system, specifically the vent solenoid. It’s common for this to cause starting problems after refueling. Many Ford owners have dealt with this and replacing the solenoid often fixes the issue. However, it’s always a good idea to check for any other potential causes, like a clogged fuel cap or a leak in the EVAP system. If you’re not comfortable tackling this yourself, a mechanic can diagnose and repair the problem efficiently.
