I have no idea, but he mentioned he’s getting headers and an H-pipe soon.

Mustangs don’t have break-in oil, but it’s still good to change it after the first 1000 miles on any new car. Mustang’s factory oil is just regular oil, so it’s not a huge deal if you skip the early change, but it helps.
I think your friend got a bad one. AC on the s550s is notorious for issues, especially if the car’s pushed hard often. I’m on my third AC compressor on my 2016 because of track use.
