Installed some cool features using Forscan! Added rain-sensing wipers, trailer side view, and side-by-side camera views. Sharing my experience!
Did your truck already have the rain sensor, or did you have to install it? Thought Pro, XLT, and Flash don’t come with the sensors.
No, it didn’t. I had to install it myself. Luckily, my truck already had the harness in place due to the 360 cams and tow tech package.

How hard was it to install? I have a 24 Flash with 360 cameras and tow tech—wondering if my harness is there too.

It was pretty easy. The cable was tucked into a slot behind the mirror. Once I removed the plastic cover, I just plugged it in, removed the clear plastic cover on the sensor, and snapped it into place. Took about 30 seconds.
Is there an option to have the side cameras pop up automatically with the turn signals, even when you’re not towing?
Not by default. There’s a workaround using a bypass device that tricks the truck into thinking you’re towing something, but it disables some features like BLIS and cross-traffic alerts.
What settings did you change in Forscan to enable trailer side view?
What position should the wiper stalk be in for the rain sensor to work?
Set it to at least the single rain drop position. Sensitivity increases as you turn it up.
Any way to get the side cameras to activate with turn signals without using the trailer mode hack?

Not that I know of, unless Ford adds it in a software update.
Does doing this void any warranty?
Is this a new update from Ford?

No, I used Forscan to enable these features. If your truck has 360 cams and tow tech, the harness for the rain sensor might already be in place.
