Ford Heated Seat Subscription?

I asked my 2024 Escape to turn on the heated seats (it has them because it’s an ST-Line), and it responded with ‘subscription not active.’

Bruh, don’t mislead. That response is for Alexa Built-In, not the heated seats.

Was that message about the heated seat or the Alexa-like voice control?

This has nothing to do with a heated seat subscription. There isn’t one, and there won’t be.

Time to splice into the heated seat cable, wire it to a switch in the cab with a resistor to control the heat, and hook it up to the battery. Forget hardware subscriptions.
