Just as I have explained on the topic above.
Yep. Bought mine with 48k miles and it’s currently at 109k. Only repair I’ve ever had to make was replacing the starter. Best truck I’ve ever owned.
Have had my ‘16 XLT Sport FX4 since 36k miles. Currently at 88k. Drives strong, works when I need it to, comfy. I’d trust it as long as it’s been maintained.
Love mine. 65,000 miles. Great engine 2.7.
I bought a 2016 XLT 3.5 EcoBoost 4x4 with 85k miles in 2020. Ran it up to 135k with zero issues. Just basic maintenance.
Literally just bought this. 2016 XLT 2.7 4x4. Had to do front pads, rotors, calipers, and rear axle seals for inspection.
I love my 2016 2.7 4x4 XLT. 131k miles and runs great. Replaced both front wheel bearings, brakes, and other basic maintenance. Great truck.
I have 2016 3.5 EcoBoost SCab XLT 4x4 and just hit 180k. Replaced exhaust manifolds, trans conductor plate, one wheel bearing, and one seized caliper. Still averages 20 mpg.
Absolutely love my 2016 5.0 6spd. It’s reliable for both work and off-road.

I’ve always been a 5.0 V8 guy. I think the 3.5 may have had issues? Any Ecoboost owners know?
Don’t have a 2016, but have a 2015 XLT 4x4 SCrew with the 3.5 twin turbo and 6 speed. Just hit 148k, only non-scheduled maintenance was a water pump last June.
Had a 2015 with the 3.5. No issues. Great power but fuel mileage wasn’t the best when towing.
My first truck was a 2016 F-150 XL with the 2.7L engine. I put 140,000 miles on it in 6 years with no issues.
Bought my '16 XLT in Jan. First truck, 132k miles. Solid purchase.
If it was a 5.0 or a 2.7, I’d be all over that, assuming it’s in good condition.
Took mine in for rough idle; it needs an engine rebuild. Cost is $14k for TSB 19-2384. Was a great truck until this.
