That’s seriously cool. You both made great choices. These cars show what Ford can really do when they’re not messing around.

Appreciate it. She’s wanted the RS since it first came out, so when we found this one, we jumped on it. It was actually out of state, and we kept an eye on it for weeks. When we finally went to check it out, someone else was test-driving it, but they passed on it, so we got lucky.
@Jesse
That’s the best way to get a car, makes the story even better. Just don’t do anything dumb on the streets—take them to a track day.

That Coyote swap Cobra is insane. Is it naturally aspirated or supercharged? Both cars look amazing.

NA for now. It’s got Boss cams, Manley forged internals, and enough fuel setup for a Whipple if I ever want to go that route. But honestly, it already rips—I can barely keep traction as it is.
@Jesse
Any idea how much power it’s making?
Are the rear tire vents real? A lot of 5.0 swaps throw the Cobra badge on and just stick fake vents on the body.

Factory quarter panel ducts were only functional on the early SN95 models, like ‘94 and ‘95 if I remember right.
@Esme
Yeah, I always thought the non-functional ones were just part of the body kit versions.

They’re just for looks. None of them were functional on this body style.
@Jesse
So it started as a regular 5.0 swap? They grabbed the cheaper one, built up a Coyote, slapped the vents and badges on? If you got it for a good price, that’s a solid move. What’s the suspension like? What trans is in it?
@Ezri
It was originally a GT. Has OEM Terminator bumpers, skirts, and trunk lid. Cervinis hood. Engine is from a 2014 Boss 302 Mustang with forged internals, upgraded oil pump and gears, 550LPH fuel system with a regulated return. TR3650 trans with an upgraded input shaft and McLeod clutch. Upr tubular K-member, front control arms, MMR rear control arms, Koni adjustable coilovers, subframe connectors, torque box stiffeners. Brembo brakes with stainless steel lines. Full Cobra interior. Still has heat and AC too.
@Jesse
So they didn’t rip out the heat and AC to save weight?

Nah, still a street car. Gotta have AC for those hot summer drives.

No 60MPH air conditioning for you huh? You kept the compressor?
@Ezri
Yeah, ditching it would’ve saved like 40 pounds. Not worth it unless you really need the space.
