I did some research and I’m thinking it’s a 2004. This is my ideal truck, and I’m looking to buy one like it.
If everything is original (wheels, front end, bumper, etc.), then it’s between a 2008 and 2009.
- Vista Blue color wasn’t available in 2006, started in 2007-2011.
- Round fog lights in the bumper started in 2008.
- Chrome wheels (aluminum matte finish came in 2010-2011).
- 2008-2009 flares looked like that.
- Fender badge is post-2005 style.
- No rock guards on the bed behind the wheels.
- No floating glass on the rear doors.
So yeah, I’d say 2008 or 2009, but definitely not newer than ‘09.

Yeah, 2010-2011 models had that ‘exposed screws’ look on the flares, so I think you’re right.
It has 2006+ mirrors, so I’d guess 07-09 XLT SuperCab.
Definitely an ‘06 or newer, but those fender flares look like they came off a pre-2000 model.
2001+ Rangers didn’t have that indent in the flares, and 2WD XLT models never had them stock. If it’s a 2WD (which the ride height suggests), they probably put them on to hide rust.

But you can see the torsion brackets, and I don’t think those came on 2WD models.

Some did. 2001-2005 Edge trucks and 2006-2009 Sport models had torsion bar front ends, even in 2WD. It’s possible this one is 4x4, but those flares still aren’t stock.

My stock ‘03 has those exact flares.
Many people are saying 2008, but mine is a 2008 FX4 and it has quite a few differences to the posted truck. They may be the differences between XLT and FX4, but the fender flares are what stick out to me the most. I could be totally wrong, but I thought the fender flares style on the truck you posted were for pre 2007-ish trucks.
That being said, my guess is that it’s a 2006. Good luck on your quest to find your perfect truck!
Had this exact model in the same color, but mine was a two-door. Miss that truck so much. Lost it recently in a wreck (not my fault), but now I have an F-150.
Go to O’Reilly’s website and enter the license plate. It’ll tell you.
Looks just like my ‘08 XLT SuperCab… except yours has better paint… and matching headlights… and is cleaner… sigh
Pretty sure this is an ‘09 or newer. The mirrors are easy to swap, but the grille is usually the best giveaway.

Same grille, wheels, and rims. Fender flares could be aftermarket or just part of a different trim package.

Was about to guess 2003-2005.
Looks exactly like my 2008.
I’d say it’s an ‘09.
Best way to tell is to get a close-up of the VIN. That’ll give you all the details.
