I just got a Ford Focus and I’m looking for a phone holder so I can use Google Maps on my phone. Can anyone recommend one, please? I’m in the UK, so something from Amazon would be great. Sorry the photo isn’t the best, but this is what my dashboard looks like!
Brodit ProClip. Every time. For every vehicle.

Couldn’t agree more!
You can choose where you want it.

The A-pillar mount is perfect. I always pick that when it’s an option.
It’s right in your line of sight for maps and doesn’t block any vents or controls.

I actually have the centre console mount so the phone isn’t directly in my view, but I can glance at it easily if I need to.
That’s why I always recommend Brodit; there’s an option for whatever you prefer.

I will never buy anything but the ProClip; it’s worth the cost.
I love the CD-player mount.
I found vent mounts cause overheating in Canadian winters.

CD player mount has worked for me too!
Have you heard of a company called Quadlock? They have a phone holder and case system. The cases are a bit chunky and offer great drop protection. They offer magnetic phone holders, and if you have the right phone model and choose the right option when buying, they offer wireless charging. They’re not cheap, but I have one of their cases on my current phone and my previous phone that my son is now using. I have a Focus that’s slightly better equipped than yours, and I put mine on the right-hand side of the windscreen between the door and dashboard.

Haha, thank you! I drove a 15-year-old Fiat Punto before this… this Ford is practically a luxury sports car to me!

To be fair, I had a lower-spec Focus before this; I just went a bit more luxurious for my second one.

ProClip mounts. They’re not cheap, but they’re the most solid mounts I’ve ever used, and they’re specifically made for the vehicle. They’re the only mounts I get now. Just got one for my kid’s Focus, and it’s great. https://www.proclipusa.com

I’ve got something similar to this in my Focus. You put metal plates inside the phone case. It stays in place very well and is easy to attach and detach.
Just got one yesterday as a gift. Installed today, works great!

Thank you! I like the look of these the best so far! And the prongs to attach it to the vents are long enough?

My Focus is a 2012, and your vents look the same as mine. I had no problem attaching them.

I got a holder that goes around the mirror, and it’s great.
