Are Ford Mustangs reliable?

I’ve always wanted a Mustang because I’ve loved how they look for a long time.

But if I spend $35,000 on a new car, I want to be sure it won’t have problems.

I’m also considering a Toyota GR86, Subaru BRZ, or a Toyota Tacoma.

What do you think?

Ford Mustangs are generally reliable, known for their performance and style. If you’re weighing it against the Toyota GR86, Subaru BRZ, or Toyota Tacoma, check reliability ratings and features to find what suits you best.

Yes. The engines and transmissions offered in the current S550 are not exotic, they’re well tested and well proven across a decade’s worth of different platforms of different sizes and use cases.

The thing about a Mustang is that the wrapper they sit in is more exciting to look at and drive.

Choosing a new car is an exciting decision, and each of the models you’re considering has its own strengths. If you love the look of the Mustang and crave a powerful, stylish ride, it’s a great choice, known for its performance and iconic design. However, Mustangs can sometimes have reliability issues compared to some other brands. The Toyota GR86 and Subaru BRZ are both excellent options if you’re looking for a sporty, fun-to-drive car with a reputation for reliability and lower maintenance costs. The Toyota Tacoma, on the other hand, offers durability and practicality, especially if you need a versatile vehicle for various activities. Ultimately, your decision should balance your love for the Mustang with the potential for reliability and how you plan to use the car. Test driving each option might help you make the best choice.
