Anyone Single Driving an Explorer?

I’m a single guy, and I love being in a bigger vehicle. Makes me feel safer, and sitting up high is nice too. But sometimes I wonder if buying a big family SUV is overkill just for me.

Thinking about upgrading from my 2011 Escape to a 2025 Explorer.

I’m 21, driving a ‘22 XLT. It’s just me most of the time, but I love having the space.

Single and traded my 2017 Escape for a 2024 XLT. Best decision ever.

I’m married but no kids, and I’m a small person. I love driving it!

Had a '96 Explorer for a couple of years, and it was mostly just me in it. Next up, I want a Lincoln Navigator. Don’t care if it seats eight; I’ll drive it alone.

I’m single and have had my Explorer since 2006. It’s been super useful, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

My dad bought a 2000 Explorer new as a family car and gifted it to me. Now I’ve got a 2020 Explorer, still no kids, but I love both. Almost a whole fleet!

Single with no kids and on my second Explorer. My 2006 has come in handy so many times. Even used the third-row seat once!

Great for road trips with friends! :camping:

Go for it and fill it with a family later. Or stay single and consider a Ranger if you want to haul stuff without messing up the interior. Still a big, cool vehicle.

Loved my ‘97 Explorer! Perfect for sleeping in during trips and moving without a U-Haul. Great whether you’re single or in a relationship.

Got an old lifted V8 Explorer from '06. It’s a tank, and I’m single. Love it.
