Anyone Here Tried the Dark Horse 20-inch Setup?

Hey, I also went with a non-HP setup! Mind sharing wheel and tire specs? Also, is it lowered? If so, which springs did you use for that look? Loving the style!

Just using OEM springs, with 275/35/20 in the front and 295/35/20 in the back.

@LillyGrace
Nice! What about the offsets and wheel brand? Really like your setup! I can’t lower mine here because of speed bumps, but I want bigger wheels to fill the gap.

The wheels are Concaver CVR3:

Front: 9.5x20" with ET32

Rear: 10.5x20" with ET45

@LillyGrace
That’s perfect, thanks for the info!

Beautiful car, love it!

Looks amazing!

Next up, planning on adding an HP front splitter. :blush:

Feels a bit high right now, but I’m avoiding shorter springs to keep the warranty intact. :thinking:

This style is growing on me.

If it’s a darker color, you don’t notice the front end as much. The 650 model can look pretty good in those shades.

Exterior looks great, but there are some issues with the interior.

Well, I think opinions vary on both!

Anyone know if this setup helps avoid scratches from rocks on the brake calipers?

What do you mean by rock brake?

Maybe they mean the auto-hold or hill assist feature?

@BrownEvans
Possibly, but I think they’re talking about rocks getting trapped between the wheel and caliper since the space is tight.

I’m running 20s with big Brembos on my S650 and haven’t had any issues with rocks getting in there.

Yeah, sorry for being vague. A few other Dark Horse owners I know have had this issue. The space between the wheel and the caliper is narrow, so small rocks can get stuck and scratch the inside of the wheels. I’m thinking maybe a 20-inch wheel setup could help with that.
