Just picked up a 2025 PowerBoost with the 3.5L engine and 2.4kW setup. Traded in my 2018 XLT with the 3.5L turbo. Only got about 300 miles on it so far. Best fuel economy I’ve hit was 26.9 MPG on a 25-mile trip one way.
Congrats! Mileage depends on things like weather and how you drive. Loving my 2023—I’ve managed 26 MPG at times but usually get around 22. Best numbers come from cruising at about 70 on the highway.

Mine came down a couple grand from sticker and gave me a fair offer on my 2018. Probably could’ve gotten a slightly better deal, but I really wanted it. This was the first 2025 they had, and I basically bought it as it was being unloaded off the truck.
Looks great! For me, anything Lariat and above has to have chrome. The blackout package just doesn’t look right on those trims. I have a gray XLT with the blackout, and I love it.
You’re gonna love it! If you’re still deciding, build it online and make sure you get exactly what you want—no need to pay for extras you don’t need.
Truck prices are crazy right now. My 2022 PowerBoost XLT 302A with the 7.2kW generator was only $51,000.
