2018 Escape Making Rattling Noise Above 60 MPH?

Hi all, my 2018 Ford Escape SE has been making a rattling noise whenever I’m driving above 60 mph. The noise doesn’t occur at lower speeds, and it’s driving me crazy trying to figure out what’s causing it. I’ve taken the car to both a mechanic and a Ford dealership, but neither has been able to pinpoint the issue.

Has anyone else experienced something similar or have any ideas on what might be causing this? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Have you checked for any loose items in the cargo area or under the seats? Sometimes, even small objects can rattle loudly at higher speeds.

If that’s not the issue, it might be a mechanical problem. Consider having your car inspected by a mechanic who specializes in noise diagnosis.

I had something like that with my old car. It turned out to be a loose heat shield. It only rattled at higher speeds, just like yours. Maybe have someone check that?

If your 2018 Ford Escape is making a rattling noise at higher speeds, check for loose items, inspect heat shields, suspension, and wheel bearings.
