My 2015 Ford Fusion’s air conditioner isn’t working right. The air isn’t blowing properly, and I’m not sure what the issue might be. Any suggestions on what to check or replace?
First thing to check is the AC filter. Sometimes it can get clogged or have debris that blocks airflow. If that’s not the issue, you should look into the blower motor and blower motor resistor. They can cause issues if they fail.
@Paige
Thanks! I’ll start by checking the filter and then move on to the blower motor if necessary.
These Ford Fusions are known for having climate control issues. You might want to check if the climate control system needs a software update or replacement. It could be something as simple as a malfunction there.
@Kamila
Good to know! I haven’t looked into that yet, but it’s definitely worth checking.
If the air is not blowing at all, it could be an issue with the fuses or wiring. I’d check the fuse for the AC blower motor as well.

I’ll definitely check the fuses too. I’m hoping it’s something simple like that!
I had a similar issue with my Fusion, and it turned out to be a faulty climate control module. Replacing it fixed the issue. Just something to keep in mind if nothing else works.

Thanks for the heads up! I’ll keep that in mind if the other fixes don’t work.
