I recently got a 2010 Ford Escape and ran into an issue after a camping trip. I folded down the rear seats for extra space, but now one of the seats won’t return to its upright position because the seatbelt is stuck. It won’t retract enough to allow the seat to move back up.
I’ve tried pressing the hinge to trick the seat into thinking it’s in the correct position, hoping that would allow the seatbelt to retract, but that didn’t work.
Does anyone have any other advice on how to get the seatbelt to retract? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
