I managed to get a 65-inch TV in the back of my car after folding down the seats. Just thought I’d share if anyone was curious.
Well, I tried with my 2-door… no luck! Learned the hard way a 65” just doesn’t fit.

Funny, I managed to fit a 60” in my 2-door last week. Maybe it’s a tight squeeze, but it worked for me!
I got a 75” TV to fit in my 4-door recently. But I checked a video first to be sure it would work!
I worked at an electronics store for six years, and just a heads-up: don’t lay down any TV larger than 43”. It can bend under its own weight, especially when driving over bumps, and that’ll void your warranty.
@Kevin
If you’re worried, most stores offer free box truck delivery. It takes a bit longer, but at least you’ll be covered if something happens.
@Kevin
Now I’m curious how big a TV would fit if I kept it upright with the roof off. Maybe I can use this as an excuse to buy a new one!

I’d guess around 55 inches with a 2-door, but for a 65, even upright, it might be tricky. Those crossbeams on the 4-door could get in the way.

I remember back when I was 17, I’d get little crowds around me at work while I explained the TVs and sound systems. The store was always short-staffed, so folks would just gather and listen in.
I fit a 75-inch TV in my car once. Barely, but it worked.
Just a tip, it’s really not a good idea to lay a TV down flat. Best to keep it upright.
I’ve got to pick up a 65-inch this weekend, and I was just wondering if it would fit. Thanks for sharing!
I was actually wondering about this too!
I’ve done crazier things. Had a 72” butcher block sticking out of the back window once. And an 86” TV in the bed of a pickup truck.

Wow, you setting up a mobile kitchen or something?
@Tory
Nah, it was for a reloading bench. Turned out pretty good.
Wait, are we talking 2-door or 4-door cars?

4-door, at least for my experience.
Same here… tried to fit a 65-inch in a Wrangler, and it just wasn’t happening.
Good to know, especially since I was thinking of picking one up soon.
