Who makes Ford Motorcraft oil filters? Are they any good?

Motorcraft filters are made by Purolator. I’ve used Motorcraft filters and oil for a long time and had no issues. I switched to full synthetic oil a while back, but OEM filters and oil are usually just as good as the big-name brands, and sometimes they’re a lot cheaper.

I’ve been using OEM oil and filters too, so I’ll probably just stick with that.

I use a Motorcraft filter every time I change the oil in my 7.3.

Wix and Parts Master are made in the same place. I use Wix on my truck and Parts Master on my beater car.

There are only like three manufacturers of oil filters in the US. It’s almost too many.
