Running 87 can cause a 20% power loss compared to 91 or 93, plus you risk pre-detonation and pinging. I always run 93 and stay away from engine cleaners like Seafoam. That stuff can break off carbon deposits and damage the turbo.

Scroll down to the F-150 part, and you’ll see the power loss when switching from 93 to 87. People underestimate the difference.
