Looking to get a dash cam that’s good value for the money. Got any suggestions? Was it easy to install?
I got an A119. It’s simple, no bells and whistles, but does what I need.

Agreed. It’s small and barely noticeable, and the cord tucks in nicely to the USB-A port upfront.
Using the FitCamX because it looks like it was built in. It’s not the cheapest option, but you wouldn’t know it’s there unless you’re searching for it.

That sounds good! Did you install it on your own? Was it tricky?
@Jasmine
Yeah, did it myself, and it wasn’t hard at all. Been working well so far.
I have the Thinkware q1000 for front and back. It’s been solid.

How was setting it up?

It’s my first one, and I didn’t have any issues. Running the cables was straightforward. Started out with the lighter plug but later switched to an OBD charger. Over a year now, no problems.
Vantrue N4 Pro dual setup for me.
Went with the BlackVue DR900X-2CH Plus. I also had to get a 10m extension for the rear camera. Tucked all the cables under the panels, so they’re only visible where they connect. Clean look, and the front cam hides right behind the mirror.
I use the Garmin Dash Cam Mini 3. Dealer pre-wired it with a micro USB from the mirror, so setup was quick. It’s super small, barely noticeable near the mirror. I looked into the FitCamX, but honestly couldn’t justify the cost since the Mini does the job just fine.
@Harper
FitCamX goes for about $168, but Garmin plus the mirror power adapter is around $179. Am I looking at a different model?
Using a VIOFO A229 Duo. Did the install myself. Hardest part was figuring out the fuses for hardwiring and routing the cable around the A-pillar since there’s an airbag there.
I’ve got the Garmin Mini 2 for both front and back. My son hardwired them, so I could use the parking guard feature.
