What can we expect from the 2026 Mustang Raptor?

So, there’s a lot of buzz about the upcoming 2026 Mustang Raptor, and honestly, it’s really exciting. From what we’re hearing, it’s expected to have a starting price around $90,000. Of course, we all know that dealerships might bump that up by $30,000 to $40,000, which could be a bit of a sticker shock. But despite that, the anticipation for this model is through the roof! It’s shaping up to be something truly special, and I can’t wait to see what it brings to the table.

Man, my local dealership still has a Grabber Blue Dark Horse in stock with a $30,000 markup. I can only imagine the kind of nonsense they’ll try to pull with this new model.

$200,000 out the door, and most of these vehicles never see anything but pavement. The few that do venture off-road are usually just on well-maintained grass.

Mine is still cashing in on Bronco and Ranger markups :joy: :joy:

And a Ranger too? seriously?

Believe me, as someone who’s also in the market for a midsize pickup, it’s surprising how the Ranger looks so unappealing. I might have to travel to another dealership just to find a better option.

I’m personally a BMW M fan, but I’ve always had a soft spot for Mustangs. This particular one, though, wow, it’s incredible. I’d go absolutely wild if I ever had the chance to own it. Unfortunately, I refuse to pay dealer markups on principle, so I guess it’s just not meant to be for me.

I’ve been a Mustang fan since I was a kid. My older brother has a few '80s Fox bodies and a couple of '65s from back in the late '80s and early '90s when prices were much lower. However, I’m firmly against paying dealer markups. I bought a used 2017 GT Premium in 2019 at a lower price because it had been in a minor accident that required a rear bumper replacement. I can’t see myself ever considering buying new with those dealer markups.
