Thinking of getting a Bronco Sport, is it worth it?

I’ve been looking at Bronco Sports, and prices seem pretty low right now. I found a new one for about 22k. Is a Bronco Sport a good car to get?

Yeah, definitely buy like four of them at that price :joy:

Wait, where are you finding them for 22k?

:cry: Is that not the normal price? I’m in Texas and every dealer around here is selling them between 22k and 24k.

A new 2024 Bronco Sport usually starts at around 29k for the base trim, so nope, not normal lol.

@Eva
I think they’re just trying to clear them out to make room for the 2025 models. Probably why they’re priced low.

Makes sense. Maybe they’re excess fleet vehicles. I’ve seen a bunch of white Dodge Ram 1500s at the dealers here that were leftover fleet vehicles.

@Eva
Yeah, those RAMs with the new inline six are not selling well. Seems like it’s all about Ford and Chevy now.

These ones have the 3.6 and 5.7 engines.

Yeah, just saying I don’t see many buying those anymore. Most companies around here prefer the 5.0 F150, 3.5 F150, and sometimes even the 2.7 F150.

@Nathan
I’d take any of those F150s, but man, they’re so pricey.

It’s a decent car, basically a Ford Escape with some extra styling. The engine’s okay, not great but does the job.

Great little SUV! My partner has one and loves it. It handles trails pretty well and gets good gas mileage. We have the Big Bend model with the 3-cylinder, but it feels strong enough on the highway.

How many miles does it have?

@Nathan
It’s a 2023 with just about 11k miles on it.

It’s about as good as any other Ford… just make sure to get rid of it when the warranty is up.

Honestly, that’s true for most brands now :joy:

Exactly.

Got a link to that listing?

If you’re looking to save some cash, try finding a used one that’s Ford Gold Certified. You can usually get one with under 15k miles for about 30k with a mid-level trim. They’re mostly lease returns, which you can confirm through the carfax.
