Should I fix my headlights or leave them?

Just got a 2025 Raptor 801A and I keep hearing people say the headlights need adjusting because they blind other drivers. Is this true or just talk? Truck is completely stock and brand new.

People say that if you lift the truck. Did you lift it and are the headlights pointing up? If not, then you’re fine.

Just to add, if you’re towing something heavy, you might want to check them. I didn’t adjust mine when I was hauling across the country, and I kept getting flashed by oncoming drivers. Took me a while to figure out why.

I have a 2022 Raptor 37P and the same thing happens. I drive at night and people flash their high beams at me like I’m blinding them. It’s kinda funny because I’m just driving normally.

But for real, how do I know if my headlights are aimed right? I’m the second owner, so I don’t know if the first owner messed with them.

@Cassidy
There’s a way to check, but I’m blanking on the exact numbers. A quick way is to park about 10 feet from a garage door and see where the cutoff line is. It should be a certain height off the ground.
