That’s interesting. All my cars have had scratches in that area, especially on the driver’s side. Was that a factory option on the newer model? I currently have a 2013 SEL AWD 2.0T and a 2017 Titanium AWD 2.0T.

Did you add that yourself? It’s an aftermarket scratch protector, not something that typically comes with the car unless the dealership might have installed it.

I can’t figure out how that area gets scratched. Is it from fingernails when opening the door? I’m sure my nails don’t touch when I open the door, yet there are still scratches. It’s strange.
