That sounds more like the 1.0 or 1.5 engines, not the 2.0.
The 1.0s don’t last long enough to have turbo issues, and the 1.5s have other problems before turbos even become an issue. The 2.0 at least makes it long enough for the turbo to act up.

EcoBoost engines are tougher than people think. I’ve driven them for delivery jobs and they keep going even when they’re not in the best shape.

Ford can make great engines, but when they mess up, it’s usually some weird oversight.
Companies like Ford and Freightliner sell chassis that others, like school bus and RV makers, turn into complete vehicles. They come with frames, engines, and basic parts.

This is a bit different though. Oshkosh buys major components from Ford, like engines and interiors, but builds the rest themselves.
