Just got a 2024 Mach E, got some questions!

Hey everyone,

I just got my 2024 Mach E Premium and I love it! But I have a few things I can’t figure out… hoping someone here can help.

  1. How do I turn off the text notification sound? I tried changing the setting, and it says off, but I still hear it.
  2. How do the trunk lights work? I tried pressing on them, but they don’t turn on… is there a setting I need to change?
  3. Can I use my own background for the calming screen?

If anyone has answers, I’d really appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

I had to go through the manual to figure this one out too. I kept wondering why the cargo lights weren’t coming on… so you’re not the only one!

I had the same issue with text notifications. If you’re using Android, you can go into the Bluetooth settings on your phone and disable message access. You don’t need to be connected to the car to do this, and it won’t mess with Android Auto.
