Hey, all you Raptor lovers! Just picked up a 2024 in agate black, and I need some ideas and inspiration for aftermarket mods. I’m especially looking for suggestions on wheels, anyone tried gunmetal, bronze, or maybe just black?
I want to go up to 37-inch wheels to replace the current 35s. So far, I’ve done some tinting, and I’ve got a ceramic coat coming next month.
What accents, highlights, or other mods have you guys done that really make your truck stand out? I’m looking for something unique, not just the usual blackout or stealth vibe.
I had my skid plates powder-coated magnetic to match the bumper. Haven’t seen anyone else do it, and it really upgrades the look over plain aluminum. You could do something similar to match your wheels. I also swapped out the front hooks for D-rings, which lets me change up the color whenever I want.
Long story! When I was installing the Cobb intercooler, I accidentally hit a fin in the AC condenser, so I had to replace it. While I had it apart, I added a kill switch near the hood latch. The badge covers a little mod I made to the grille.
Take it off-road and push it to the limit! That’ll show you what, if anything, you might want to upgrade. Most of these trucks handle everything stock just fine, though.
I don’t get why everyone is in such a rush to add mods to their Raptors. These trucks are already top-notch! But if you’re doing ceramic, maybe consider paint protection film (PPF) for the whole truck—it’ll keep that black paint looking clean without worrying about swirls or scratches.
@Zachary
I get it! But for me, modding it up is just part of the fun. Totally fine if others want to keep it stock, but I’m here looking for ideas because I’m all about making it my own!
