2024 Black XLT Hybrid with the Luxury package (Co-Pilot included). This is for a company vehicle, and I’m looking to see what others have paid for similar setups. Thanks in advance for any replies .
So they marked it up $2500 from MSRP and then gave a $1500 discount, still overcharging by $1000? You okay with a markup? I just got a Maverick with the same setup for MSRP plus fees, no markup.

I love how they try to play these tricks on buyers.

I had a bad feeling and wanted to see what others paid. Wasn’t too set on the price, so I got a quote with a small discount. I’m gonna push them for MSRP.

Keep pushing. If you’re not in a hurry, wait for the 2025 model. I bought mine at Walnut Creek in California. If they keep the markup, just travel if you really need one.

Thanks for the advice, I’m gonna try to get that extra $1000 off. I’m in Orange County, California, by the way.
MSRP or walk away.

Thanks for confirming that for me. That was my plan, but I wasn’t sure if this is normal when buying a new car. I’ll negotiate for MSRP, and if not, I’ll walk.

It is for the Maverick. If you’re in Orange County, you’ve got plenty of dealerships to pick from.

If you’re in OC, check out Galpin Ford near Glendale. It’s a bit of a drive, but check online first to make sure they have stock, or it could be a waste of time. They update their inventory every couple of days.

Grab Google and start calling dealers within driving distance. Find a better deal, get the details in an email, and then go make the deal. If they start playing games, just leave.
UPDATE Went with another dealership and found an XL with Co-pilot360. Going to get an aftermarket bed liner. Sticker price: $27,655.
I got my Lariat in 2023, and it was invoice plus a $499 doc fee. Taxes are normal for my state. Looks like you’re getting a $1500 discount. Everything else is pretty standard for your area. Not sure if dealers are coming off MSRP yet though.
I guess it depends on your area, but their ‘discount’ is just them charging $1000 over MSRP instead of $2500. I paid $2K over my 2023 MSRP, but it was still less than the 2024 MSRP. So, maybe I’m not the best person to ask about paying over MSRP. What state are you in? 8.75% tax seems high.

@DolphGabbana
There’s a dealer in Kansas that sells for MSRP and gives you $1000 for travel if you finance with them. They post lots of videos about the Maverick on YouTube.
@DolphGabbana
Mavericks aren’t that hard to find anymore. I got two different dealerships to go below MSRP. No need to pay over.
@DolphGabbana
Seems high, especially with 2025 Mavericks coming out soon.
@DolphGabbana
Nope, don’t do it.
