This seems like a solid price. If you don’t buy it, someone else will!
A running car for $2k, especially a manual? That’s hard to pass up.
I bought the same car last year, and it was worth every penny.
This is a steal at this price, I’d grab it.
Looks like a good deal to me.
The sedans are supposed to get better mileage… Is that a pool noodle in the grill?
I bought a 2014 manual with 89,500 miles from the original owner, who had it serviced regularly. The clutch started slipping, and when I replaced it, I found the clutch disc was installed backward!
Turns out, the dealer replaced the slave cylinder at 15k miles. I’m now replacing the clutch at 160k—so 135k miles with the disc backward. Crazy, right?
I just got my 2003 for the same price and mileage. Definitely worth it.
Go for the 5-speed manual every time. It’s the better choice.
For $2k, avoiding DCT issues is a huge win. Get a mechanic to check it out just to be safe.
It’s manual, so yes, grab it.
I wouldn’t buy it. If they couldn’t bother cleaning it up for pictures, what does that say about how they’ve maintained it? People like this often skip important stuff like oil changes or spark plugs.
These engines are solid if you take care of them, and they’re easy to work on. For $2k, it’s a no-brainer, especially with a manual. You won’t regret it.
Looks decent. I just lost my beautiful '03 thanks to black ice. Still hurts.
Normally, I tell folks to avoid this generation because of the DCT, but with a manual, it’s as reliable as a Toyota. If you don’t grab it, someone here will.
Not bad, especially for a drivable car at $2k. That said, steel rims on a car under 10 years old? That’s usually a red flag for bad maintenance. Check it carefully.

My 2012 Focus SE came with steel rims from the factory. Could just be the trim level.

Sometimes people swap alloys for steel rims to sell them separately for extra cash. Others use steel rims in the winter. Not a deal-breaker.

I use steel rims for winter too. Salt on the roads here rusts them quick, but it beats messing up good wheels. Maintenance isn’t always about appearances.
Steel wheels might mean it has the package with the active shutter grill. Finding one with a manual is rare. Seems like a good deal.
